Position overview:
This position will be integral in specifying the design and of disposable, class II medical devices. It requires mechanical inclination and the understanding of Computer Aided Design. The person in this position will work under the direction of development and quality engineers to produce design concept models, detailed part and assembly models and detailed drawings.
JOB / DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES (Listed in order of importance)
- Create fabrication and assembly drawings from Pro-Engineer 3D solid models.
- Update drawings following ECO or engineers instructions and markups.
- Create and update CAD models under the direction of engineers.
- Assist in the documentation of test fixtures for product qualification
- Perform data entry and prepare reports / graphs related to special projects, CA, PA, Audits, NCR’s, Deviations, Training, etc.
- Maintain accurate documentation and files related to special projects, CA, PA, Audits, NCR’s, Deviations, Training, etc.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements
Knowledge / Education
- Demonstrated working knowledge of mechanisms and design.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of Computer Aided Design
- Coursework in mechanical drafting with a working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDT).
Job Experience
- A minimum of 3 years work experience in document control
- Experience with internal audits and CA, PA process
