Position overview:
This person will be the “face of Insulet Corporation” and as a result, must operate in a polished, professional manner. This person will create and maintain systems for our office. They will provide general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks as well as answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates, greating guests and the requisition of office supplies.
JOB / DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES (Listed in order of importance)
- Professionally administer all incoming calls
- Ensure phone calls are redirected accordingly
- Greet and sign in guests in a professional, friendly, hospitable manner
- Scheduling interviews and follow up meetings
- Maintianing all orientation training schedules as well as tracking attendance
- Provide direct clerical support to the Human Resources team
- Type memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents
- Stamp out going mail and sort incoming mail
- Assists in the ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office supplies
- Perform a variety of clerical duties
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements
Knowledge / Education
- Bachelors of Arts degree or equivalent experience
- Solid knowledge of business software: email (MS Outlook) word processing (MS Word), spreadsheet, (MS Excel), database (MS Access)
Job Experience
- Minimum of 2 years experience in an administrative support position
Skills / Competencies
- Strong verbal communication skill
- Excellent writing (spelling and grammar) skills
- Excellent phone manner
- Ability to communicate at multiple levels of an organization
- Ability to organize and judge priorities
- Ability to generate and maintain accurate records
- Self-starter: comfortable working with little supervision, able to assume multiple responsibilities, reliable, and detail oriented
- Excellent customer-service focus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds: this person will need to stock office and kitchen supplies
- No business travel is required for this position
